Springfield's Favorite Family Arrives in Rocket League: Unfortunately Not the Vehicle Fans Are Dreaming Of

It was previously announced that the iconic animated series was teaming up with Fortnite, but this isn't the sole destination where fans can immerse themselves in the world of Springfield. The beloved show is coming over to Rocket League, introducing an in-game car skin that will also be compatible in Fortnite. However, if gamers will truly desire to equip it is another question, as fans have their hearts set on just one Simpsons vehicle everyone is eager to drive, and this isn't it.

What Fans Really Want

Although most gamers would undoubtedly love to face off while driving The Homer—the notoriously impractical automobile the patriarch built himself in the classic episode "the one where he meets Herb"—regrettably, that isn't what players are receiving. Not even getting the massive SUV, the enormous truck featured in season 10. Instead, fans will obtain the Simpsons' standard beat-up sedan, which they've been driving since 1989. Though this particular car has accumulated plenty of miles, it remains an recognizable element of the series.
